Frequently asked questions
Is it legal for MindTattoo to collect my clients' deposits?
Yes. We act as your commercial agent (a model accepted under art. 3 PSD2), collect on your behalf and settle to you via SEPA. You sign an agency contract when you sign up. More detail at /sobre.
Do I have to stop using Instagram and WhatsApp to talk to my clients?
No. MindTattoo doesn't put chats in the platform. You receive the client's structured brief and contact them wherever you prefer. You keep the human relationship outside the platform.
What happens if a client cancels?
The default policy is: >72h before the appointment, full refund. 24-72h, 50/50. Less than 24h or a no-show, the deposit is released to the artist. You can configure it however you like.
How much do you charge per transaction?
Between 0.5% and 2.5% depending on the plan. On Studio (studios with several artists) we drop to 0.5%. On Free it's 2.5%.
Can I connect my current accountant?
Yes. Invoices and expenses export to Excel and PDF, and there's automatic sync with Google Drive so your accountant can pick them up from there. Tax forms 303/130/390 generated automatically.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You have 30 days to export everything (clients, schedule, invoices, deposits). After 30 days we delete your data except what the law requires us to keep (invoicing, tax).
When is there a mobile app?
We're working on native apps for iOS and Android (phone and tablet). Meanwhile, the web is optimised for mobile and behaves like an app if you add it to your home screen.
